I’m a freelance writer and choral arranger based in Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire.

Words: I’ve worked with language all my life, as a linguist, teacher and writer. My pop science, humour, music and cycling writing has been published in the Guardian and elsewhere. I specialise in working with small businesses; I’ll help you put yourself, your brand or your business across in words that feel authentic to you. I’ll make sure your website, blog, newsletters and social media are engaging and clear, while staying true to your voice.

Music: I’ve been commissioned to write pop and rock arrangements for the award-winning White Rosettes barbershop chorus, Manchester Community Choir, Out Aloud and Three Valleys Gospel Choir, among others. I’m also half of the team behind Hebden Bridge’s very own Pop Choir, Take It To The Bridge. I love creating something that’s easy to learn and sing, but stays true to the original, and takes the audience on a proper emotional journey.
